Houshold Hazardous Waste: Waste oil, paint, and batteries should be placed upright on the pallet inside of the three-sided lean-to next to the metal building behind the scalehouse. Please limit oil to five gallons per household per visit. All containers should be closed to avoid spillage. This facility is for household hazardous waste only. Small businesses (small quantity generators) should contact the Desoto County Public Safety Department at 993-4842 for disposal locations. For information on other household hazardous waste please call the Desoto County Environmental Services at 993-4826 during regular business hours. |
